IPS BUSINESS SCHOOL’s Marketing Simulation: A Real-World Experience for Aspiring Marketers !

IPS BUSINESS SCHOOL has conducted a marketing simulation activity for their MBA students which gave them hands-on experience in the real world of business. In this exercise, students were required to devise a brand of their own and launch a new product, a Smartphone.

Grouped by teams, the students got a big task, namely to build an unparalleled marketing strategy for their mobile phone firm. At the heart of this was a process of creating a unique brand that the consumer could identify themselves with, developing a product that was not strictly bound to the norm and spurring the customer by the way of the first engaging words. Furthermore, they also had to handle customers, who are potential buyers, deal with their queries and their persuasion to buy the product.

In this business environments, the students of IPS BUSINESS SCHOOL engaged a team of “customers” who were also MBA students of BUSINESS SCHOOL. These players took up the role of the would-be customer, rating the product and leaving a written review as feedback.

The students were taught a great deal from the exercise, as it was an enabling madness, which led them to apply their deep knowledge of theory, them’ of dealing with new settings. It was by identifying with the customers, and walking with them that they got to know the intricate details involved in the marketing process. The participants have researched the market, selected the position of the product, evaluated the behavior of the customer, and learned the essential communication skills’.

The decision as to who would be the winners of the activity was made based on the customer reviews and on how effective their marketing strategies were. The victorious team that was able to show a music-like change, by telling a story with an inner meaning, and using the power of emotional appeal came next to it.

This marketing simulation was a fantastic opportunity for IPS BUSINESS SCHOOL students to develop their skills and apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. By participating in this event, they obtained experience in branding, product development, and customer service. Their accomplishments fill us with pride and optimism due to the novel ideas they brought to the table.
