NTA has released the revised CMAT 2021 exam date as March 31, 2021. This has given big relief to the CMAT aspirants who were worried about their admission in good B-school due to delay in exam as many top MBA colleges accepting CMAT have closed their admission process. Now it is likely that the admission may re-open at these institutes since the CMAT result may also be declared by April 10 which may not cause any delay in session commencement.

CMAT exam 2021 will be held on March 31, 2021 now! NTA has released CMAT 2021 exam date as March 31, 2021 and the exam will be held in a single day in two shifts – morning and afternoon instead of earlier in two dates on February 22 and 27. CMAT 2021 admit card will be released on March 24, 2021 at 10 AM.

In its notification dated March 22, 2021, NTA has announced to conduct CMAT exam 2021 on March 31, 2021 in two shifts – 9 AM to 12.30 PM and from 3 PM to 6.30 PM. The announcement has given big relief to the CMAT aspirants as they were worried about their admission in a good B-school due to the inordinate delay in CMAT exam which was earlier postponed to May 8, 2021. Besides, many top B-schools who accept CMAT score for admission, have either closed their admission process or are planning to close it shortly. With the release of CMAT exam dates and schedule, they may reopen their admission application process for CMAT aspirants as the CMAT result is also expected by April 10.

CMAT score accepting top PGDM institutes who plan to commence session in June/July may go ahead with their plan as the confusion over CMAT exam is over and their session commencement may not be delayed now.

Below is the notification  released by National Testing Agency (NTA) regarding the revised CMAT 2021 exam date, admit card release and changes in exam pattern:

NTA is conducting CMAT for last two years on behalf of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for admission to AICTE approved PGDM programmes in 1000 B-schools in India. CMAT 2021 Exam pattern is changed

CMAT 2021 test paper has a time duration of three and half hours with 125 objective type questions in MCQs form.

• Question difficulty level is easy to moderate
• Exam is divided in 5 sections with 25 questions in each section. The sections are Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, Innovation and Entrepreneurship
• Each correct answer is awarded +4 Mark
• Each wrong answer is penalized with negative marking of -1 mark
• No Individual Time limit to attempt question paper. Candidates can attempt any question from any section within the overall time limit of 3½  hours.
• Merit Score and percentile is calculated on the basis of all the 5 sections.
• CMAT score card displays Actual score obtained out of 500 Marks, Sectional score obtained and the sectional and overall percentile obtained in the Exam
