Hindustan Motors may be planning to return to the Indian automotive industry by introducing an HM-electrified Ambassador. The HM ambassador, who started his career in 1958, served the nation well until 2014 when the company pulled its reins. The famous HM ambassador could soon return to the electric train to cater to the Indian audience. The company, which took a while to reorganize the company, is likely to complete the final episodes in what could be a major plan to bring back HM Ambassador. The company has entered into a business with the French company Peugeot to enter the Indian EV market and has come up with an electric scooter and Amby that was electrified earlier.

Hindustan Motors was founded in 1942 and was part of the Birla Technical Services conglomerate. He has worked in a defunct factory in Uttarpara, Hoogly region, West Bengal.
