IPMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

IPMAT 2025 exam for IIM Indore will be held on May 12, 2025. The IPMAT exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. The IPMAT 2025 application form will likely be released in the second week of February 2025 and the application window will likely be open for approximately two months. The IPMAT application form 2025 will be available on the official website of IIM Indore and there will be no provision for offline application. IPMAT 2025 is known for its challenging questions that require not just theoretical knowledge but also analytical and critical and logical thinking skills.
IIM Rohtak conducts a separate entrance test for admission, also called IPMAT. Rohtak IPMAT 2025 will be conducted in the third week of May 2025 in the computer-based test mode. IPMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfil the IPMAT 2025 eligibility criteria given below in order to appear for the IPMAT 2025:
- Applicants must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent CGPA in the case of the General and NC OBC categories.
- Applicants belonging to SC, ST or PwD (DA) categories must have secured at least 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Class 10 and Class 12.
- Applicants must have passed the qualifying exam in the years 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
- Applicants in the final year of Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally.
The candidates applying for the exam must keep in mind the age limit to appear for the exam. Students who are above 20 years of age (General category) as of July 31, 2025, are not eligible to appear for the IPMAT 2025 exam. The age limit for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category is 22 years as of July 31, 2025.

IPMAT application process 2025 is completely online. This means the IPMAT application form 2025 will be available online on the official website of IIM Indore. There is no provision of applying offline.
Documents Required for IPMAT Application Form
- Scanned or digital copy photograph and signature
- Digitally scanned copy of the latest OBC (Non-creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable
- Scanned copy of mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12
- Credit/ Debit card/ internet banking details to pay the fees online
- Valid government-issued ID proof. Students can choose any one of the following:
- Voter ID
- Aadhar Card
- Driving License
- Pan Card
- Passport
The images uploaded should be in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format and the file format should be as mentioned in the IPM Indore brochure. How to Fill the IIM Indore IPMAT Application Form 2025?
Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below to know how to fill the IPMAT application form 2025:
- Visit the official website of IIM Indore, iimidr.ac.in
- Click on the registration link for IPMAT 2025
- Applicant needs to generate a User ID and password
- This User ID and password will also be sent to the applicant through registered email and SMS
- Next, the applicant needs to re-login using the credentials
- The next step is to enter the required details in the application form. Applicants must ensure that they enter the correct details as the same cannot be changed later
- Pay the registration fee through a Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking
- Applicants belonging to reserved categories need to submit valid and attested certificates supporting their reservation category
IPMAT 2025 Application Fee
Applicants who successfully fill out the IPMAT application form have to make a fee payment online to complete the application process. The non-refundable application fee can be paid online only via a credit card, debit card, internet baking, mobile banking or UPI. IPMAT Syllabus 2025 Overview
The IPMAT question paper is based on topics from Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. To ace the IIM Indore IPMAT exam, students need to thoroughly study these topics and sub-topics of the IPMAT syllabus:
The Quantitative Ability sections will have questions based on Class 9 and Class 10 mathematics. The questions will be based on topics such as Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Time and Work, Probability, Number System, Time, Speed and Distance, Algebra, Permutation and Combination, Mixtures and Allegations, Data Interpretation, Simple and Linear Equations, etc.
